It appears that this trucker has joined the new trend where truckers across the country use actual Woody and Buzz Lightyear toys to re-create a scene from the Toy Story movie.
This video captured by a driver on the highway shows the moment they spotted a truck with Buzz Lightyear hanging from the side of his truck going 70 mph with a Buzz Lightyear toy dangling from a side stair, while Woody is seen holding on for dear life. The scene being recreated comes from Disney's 1995 film ‘Toy Story,’ the first movie in the franchise.

Truckers Re-Create the ‘Toy Story’ Scene With Woody and Buzz on Their Rigs
As the car pulled up alongside the big rig on the highway, the toys dangling from the side of the truck really looked like something straight out of a movie. According to X user @DudespostingWs, who reshared the video, the truck was traveling at 70 mph.
The post stated that the trucker was oblivious to the toys, which were most likely glued to his truck, swaying in the wind as he cruised along. One commenter disputed that claim, "He has every idea. this is a whole trend, nearly 4 million posts on TikTok of people bolting them on to recreate the highway scene from the first movie."
And this comment was accurate, because numerous truckers all across the world have joined this nostalgic trend. A report from Newsweek as far back as 2022 reported on the same trend, and other people in the comments section on X appreciate the childhood classic and join in on the fun, "Woody and Buzz are holding on for dear life."
Another video that was taken on the highway in the UK captured another truck driver re-creating the same scene. The DailyMotion video showed the Buzz Lightyear and Woody characters "holding on for dear life," but this time it was at the back of the truck.
The trucker also had the slinky dog character, which was also present in the Toy Story movie. To add to the scene, the creator of the video also added the actual sound clip taken from that scene. This only brought the story to life for the true fans of the Toy Story franchise.
Another X user added, "Toy story just turned into a thriller."
The Daily Dot was unable to independently verify the circumstances surrounding the video, including the truck's speed or whether the driver was aware of the toys attached to the vehicle.
