Luckily for you, The gurus at Tested, Mythbuster Adam Savage's platform for geek DIY culture, are here to show us why getting Spock ears is easier than ever.

It turns out in order to get Vulcan-ified, all you need is some foam core mold, some gelatin, and a microwave. Voila!

OK, it's not quite that simple, but still, this is as easy as special effects get.

Now they just have to explain to us how Pon Farr works.
