At a wedding, a toddler unexpectedly became a star when she made a perfectly timed sound at the moment the guests were being asked if anyone had an objection to the marriage. The scene was recorded and uploaded by Jessie Banks (@jessiebanks26) on Sept. 29.
The video, which has the overlay "When your 1-year-old objects at the wedding," has received over 252,000 likes. Most viewers found the toddler's interruption amusing.
The clip shows the wedding guests sitting through the ceremony, with some of them turning around to laugh. A woman wearing a blush-colored dress and holding a bouquet can be seen giving a knowing smile, and the guests seated behind her are just as amused. The toddler, who is in a high chair next to the scene, is the one causing the laughter and seems to make a sound at the exact moment when the traditional question about objections to the marriage is being asked.

The officiant is heard saying, "[If any person here present knows of any lawful impediment to this marriage] they should declare it now."
The toddler didn't actually understand what was going on or intentionally object to the wedding. But the humor came from the timing of the interruption, as it gave the impression that the child deliberately chose that particular moment to express her opinion.
One commenter said that the older children in front also had no idea what was funny, as they seemed to be laughing because everyone else was. Others were more interested in the toddler's dinner arrangement than in her protest. "The high chair with the food is hilarious," one wrote. Another commenter said that having "a highchair and a meal at the wedding" is a "pro parenting move."
Many viewers joked about the toddler's expression and also suggested that she must have been puzzled by the adults' reaction because everyone had been quiet during the ceremony until then.
One commenter put the toddler's thoughts this way: "Guys, I'm serious, why are all of you laughing?" Yet another viewer explained the joke to people who had missed it, saying that the baby happened to make a sound when the officiant asked who would object to the wedding.
The toddler's meal was also repeatedly mentioned in the comments. Many viewers referred to the unbothered toddler as a "queen" who was having her meal while the adults handled the ceremony.
