Have we learned nothing from Gremlins?

Someone must have somehow given this FurReal Friends toy cat water or fed it after midnight. When one person tried out this toy while attempting to find a present for a niece, it didn’t quite act like a cat would—or even like a typical electric-powered toy cat would. 

It could be anything from a simple malfunction to the more likely demon cat toy possession. It looks like it's staring into your soul. 

So how would one go about exorcising a toy cat?
