One woman asserted that the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) secondary checks are not always random andĀ shared tips on how to avoid getting stopped.

In a viral video that has garnered overĀ 364,100 viewsĀ and more thanĀ 13,700 likes, Megan (@megansbubble)Ā provided adviceĀ for individuals whoĀ frequently undergo searches by the TSA.

ā€œTheyĀ are not randomĀ because you will see this on your ticketsĀ if you are likely someone like me,ā€ she said.

She added that despiteĀ her effortsĀ to apply for global entry and TSA PreCheck,Ā follow airport regulationsĀ regarding metals and liquids, and avoid wearing metal to airports, sheĀ continued to experience delaysĀ at security.Ā 

She believes that passengersĀ who often get stoppedĀ at airport security points have likely been ā€œflagged.ā€

But there wasĀ one sign on her ticketĀ that she thinks isĀ the reason she kept getting flagged.Ā
