A woman is going viral for saying she is considering leaving NYC after having an unpleasant experience while walking around the city. Originally posted by Izzy Graff (@isabellegraff) on Instagram, the post features her gagging while showing her followers that her foot made direct contact with human feces while she was walking on the pavement.
To make matters worse, Graff said she had been wearing flip-flops that day. She can be heard retching in the video and telling viewers the experience left her feeling sick. She repeatedly said she felt like crying and wanted to be sick. The experience left her feeling so miserable that she said she would have to move out of NYC.
“Oh, I'm gonna throw up. Oh, I'm gonna throw up. Oh, I'm sick,” Graff says in the clip. “I just, I'm like literally almost gonna cry. I just stepped, I'm wearing flip-flops, in human shit. I really... I'm moving. Oh, this was it.”

Graff’s profile bio on the platform states that she is based in NYC. In many of her videos, she can be seen exploring new places in the city on foot.
NYC Influencer Gagging Over Sidewalk Mishap Divides Social Media
The video has since been reposted and rapidly circulated across social media platforms. Her meltdown sparked a mixed reaction among viewers. While some sympathized with her for the unfortunate experience, others blamed her for wearing flip-flops.

A separate user added, “Imagine living in a place where people shit on the sidewalk and then trying to convince everyone else it’s cool.”
An X user pointed out a sad reality, “America has been stealing money and controlling trades for like 100 years. One of the biggest fertile land with one of the largest natural resources but people still sht on streets in one of its most expensive city [sic]. Lol where does that all money goes [sic] you piece of shts.”
