This purse is definitely not white, but don’t tell Twitter that

Twitter user @whyofcorso posted a photo of their Kate Spade purse, which they say is blue. However, others are seeing white. It’s chaos.

The optical illusion seems to be another example of how our brains take cues from our surroundings to tell us what colors things are. But @whyofcorso told the Daily Dot over Twitter DM that the bag is Kate Spade’s Cedar Street Hayden Bag in the color “Mystic Blue,” so it seems like this mystery is permanently solved.

But like, who even knows anymore? Our brains apparently mess with us like this all the time. How can we trust our own perceptions? What is reality? And will Kate Spade stock more of these if it goes viral?
