Mark Williams
Mark Jason Williams is an award-winning playwright, essayist, and travel writer. He writes for the New York Times, Washington Post, HuffPost, Out Magazine, Salon, Thrillist, Wired, Insider, Time Out, Good Housekeeping, The Globe and Mail, Far & Wide, and more. His plays have been produced in New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Washington, D.C. Mark has a B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and is three-time recipient of the Planet Connections Award for Outstanding Playwriting.
He lives in New York with his husband and two senior dogs.
Mark’s debut book, Out in the World, is an inclusive and fun travel guide for the LGBTQIA+ community and friends—and the first book of its kind for National Geographic.
