The Daily Dot continues to up its fanciness. We now have video bumpers.

Featured Video

By bumpers, I mean a quick introductory graphic at the beginning and end of our YouTube videos. The graphic used in the bumpers is the final version of our logo, created by Public School, an Austin, Texas-based design firm.

In hindsight, I should have purchased a top hat and monocle for this video. I also need to remember “vlog” is pronounced vlog, and not “vee-log.” Live and learn.

The video quality, camera angle, and shooting location (the bathroom) was done as an homage to the “authentic” YouTubers who used to rule the site before YouTube’s rapid commercialization. All of which contrasts nicely with the fancy.

Bask in the glory of our finalized logo and elegant bumpers! Again, fancy.
