Supercut impresario Zach Prewitt puts together a whole lot of yelling and screaming. Plus: A squid’s membrane goes somewhat insane when Cypress Hill plays.

With over 72 hours of footage uploaded every minute, it’s physically impossible to keep track of the content on YouTube. But in YouTube Guide, the Daily Dot will curate its five favorite finds for each workday.

Featured Video

1) Zach Prewitt, “Supercut: Temper Tantrum”

Supercut mastermind Zach Prewitt—whose recent cuts include “The Laughs of Richard Dreyfuss,” a minute long splice of every time Annie gasps on Community, and a cutup of famous movie scenes that involve the word “Sonofabitch”—has combed through a Blockbuster’s worth of movies to find more than four minutes of the greatest temper tantrums in cinematic history. My personal highlight: Sam Kinison yelling “Say it! Sayyy itttt!” at Rodney Dangerfield over and over again.

2) Backyard Brains, “Insane in the Chromatophores”

Marine biologist Paloma T. Gonzalez and the mad scientists at Backyard Brains took a look at the effects of Cypress Hill’s “Insane in the Membrane” on the chromatophores of the Woods Hole squid by looking at the squid’s caudal fin through an 8x microscope . The result: an absolutely tripped-out collection of pigmented cells that seem to bounce as hard as B-Real himself.

3) Chad Wild Clay, “Gangnam Style in English”

In case you haven’t had enough of the “Gangnam Style” yet, Minneapolis parodist Chad Wild Clay pulled from the misheard lyrics trick book to bring you this “Oppa Condom Style” knockoff played over into the English language. Wild Clay even does the horseback dance, but unfortunately, there’s no effort to act out that funny scene in the garage with the dude in the yellow suit.

4) Bill Nye, “Creationism is Not Appropriate for Children”

Scientist Bill Nye is undeniably the smartest figure to ever speak to me throughout my childhood. As such, there’s nobody I’d rather hear talk about the virtues of evolution and the roles that creationist parents should play in their children’s development than him. It doesn’t even matter if he’s sort of rambling like Bob Dylan at the end of “Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts.” This guy is the absolute truth.

5) Shaycarl, “Inspirational Running Video”

Here’s something you wouldn’t know if you just started following the Shaytards yesterday: Shaycarl used to be big—real big. Like 281 pounds big. But Shay’s since lost 100 lbs., and he’s not done yet. Today, Shay launched the Shayloss September, a 30 day challenge wherein Shaycarl will take on the role of premier personal fitness mastermind. His first video’s pretty sweet: a 2:30 running clip that’ll have you thinking about waking up a little earlier each morning.
