With over 72 hours of footage uploaded every minute, it’s physically impossible to keep track of the content on YouTube. But in YouTube Guide, the Daily Dot will curate its five favorite finds for each workday.
1) Sarah Silverman, “An Indecent Proposal from Sarah Silverman”
78-year-old casino magnate Sheldon Adelson has pledged $100 million in an effort to help Mitt Romney defeat Barack Obama in the upcoming presidential election. Comedian Sarah Silverman’s response: Give it to Obama and I’ll scissor you “through to fruition.” Sounds pretty good, right? The dog at the end looks pretty, um, happy.
2) Rocket News, “Burger with 1,000 Slices of Cheese”
From the guy who brought you last year’s hamburger with 1,000 slices of bacon comes… this hamburger featuring 1,000 slices of cheese. It’s really quite gross. We can only imagine the trauma going on within that guy’s stomach. Bite sized yellow curdling all over the place.
3) Improv Everywhere, “The Mini-Golf Open”
The New York City improv collective head out to Lower Manhattan’s Pier 25 to turn a standard mini golf course into a U.S. Open-caliber competition featuring commentators, caddies, a packed-house gallery, and an ESPN camera crew. At the end, the winner gets to hoist the esteemed Claret Jug, the same one the PGA will award to someone like Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson at this weekend’s Open Championship.
4) The Shorts Show, “Office Blood”
What do you get when you mix The Office with True Blood? “Office Blood,” a new show that goes behind the scenes of Lord Michael Blanchard’s Drac-U-Drapes regional sales facility.
5) The Onion, “Sex House”
The Real World? Basically just The Sex House with a more clever name. In this new Web series by comedic powerhouse The Onion, we meet the nymphos behind the horniest house on YouTube, a mansion meticulously designed for only one thing.
