With over 72 hours of footage uploaded every minute, it’s physically impossible to keep track of the content on YouTube. But in YouTube Guide, the Daily Dot will curate its five favorite finds for each workday.
1) Rhett & Link, “SPOT the DIFFERENCES Music Video”
Rhett & Link have transformed the “spot the difference” game from a single photograph into a full-fledged music video. A family sleeps as the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman, a two-headed monster and two burglars sneak into their home, and if you spot all of the differences you could even win money.
2) Nitro Circus, “Crash Montage 2012”
Travis Pastrana and the guys of Nitro Circus come together to perform a series of insanely dangerous stunts in action sports, and sometimes it doesn’t go according to plan.
3) Above Average Network, “Baby I Lobe You (An Auto-corrected Love Song)”
One person’s attempt to tell his girlfriend that he loves her goes awry as his song in a text message gets the auto-correct treatment, and the message she gets is quite different from the one he intended.
4) Dumb Drum, “Iron Man 3 trailer – sweded”
Who needs special effects or a fancy score? This recreation of the Iron Man 3 trailer matches the original shot-for-shot but with a smaller budget. It’s complete with an Iron Man suit made of cardboard, Nerf darts and an underwater scene with tinted plastic wrap.
5) The Slow Mo Guys, “Inception Bath Tub”
The Slow Mo guys are huge fans of Inception, so naturally they try to recreate the scene where Leonardo DiCaprio falls into a bathtub using a camera that records at 1,600 frames per second. Even more impressive for some, Gav doesn’t spill his beer when he tries it.
