With over 72 hours of footage uploaded every minute, it’s physically impossible to keep track of the content on YouTube. But in YouTube Guide, the Daily Dot will curate its five favorite finds for each workday.
1) Coker & Stratton, “The Paul Ryan Workout”
If you want to pump iron and get in shape like Paul Ryan, you’ll have to sweat Republican. With a combination of workout techniques and Ryan’s conservative values, you’ll be fiscally in shape in no time!
2) Scott Winn, “Slip n’ Slide Launches People Into Kiddie Pools”
Scott Winn combines two childhood summer favorites to make one epic ride you can’t find in water parks. Get a water tube, go down the hill on a giant Slip n’ Slide, and make for one of the kiddie pools below.
3) melodysheep, “Our Story in 1 Minute”
Melodysheep visually tells the Earth’s story through various clips from movies and documentaries. There are no words, but as you travel through our planet’s narrative, it’s hard not to realize that we’ve come a long way.
4) Casey Neistat, “Hurricane Sandy on Bikes in NYC”
New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg advised citizens not to travel outside during Hurricane Sandy, but Casey Neistat and his friends spent four hours exploring the city by bike and captured another look at the destruction not often seen. Don’t try this at home.
5) Disney Parks, “Darth Vader: What Are You Going to Do Next?”
The Internet certainly had a thing or two to say when news broke that Disney bought LucasFilm, and while we have three more Star Wars films to look forward to (or dread), the Star Wars characters are now part of the Disney family. And for Darth Vader, who hasn’t had the easiest childhood, that can only be a good thing.
