With over 72 hours of footage uploaded every minute, it’s physically impossible to keep track of the content on YouTube. But in YouTube Guide, the Daily Dot will curate its five favorite finds for each workday.
1) The Second City Network, “Why Nate Silver Got Drunk”
We all know that New York Times writer Nate Silver won the Internet, but he didn’t aim to do that. The drunk statistician was able to see the future through numbers and gained fame through Election Night, which eventually broke him.
2) Moving Minds Studios, “The Magic School Bus: The Movie Trailer”
Miss Frizzle is gone and the students are grown up, but the magical teacher wants her old classroom to take one last trip on the Magic School bus… to the Underworld. Some students will need more convincing than others.
3) Soul Pancake, “Post Election Special – Kid President”
Robbie, the Kid President, noticed that many adults became sad following the election, so he tried to find some things that would cheer up everyone while getting to the bottom of why adults are boring. Like cupcakes.
4) John Lewis, “Christmas Advert 2012 – The Journey”
Halloween was just a little over a week ago and U.K. retailer John Lewis already has its latest Christmas ad. With no words, one snowman is determined to travel to the city and get his sweetheart something extra nice for the holidays.
5) Dude Perfect, “BASEBALL EDITION”
The Dude Perfect guys are back to their usual tricks, except this time, they’ve set their basketball hoops up on a baseball field, in an attempt to catch a baseball just before it leaves the stadium. The stunts and trick shots are as impressive as always.
