15-year-old ‘X Factor’ contestant nails Christina Aguilera’s most difficult song

If you’re going to do a Christina Aguilera song on The X Factor, you better have the peaks and valleys down. Fifteen-year-old Natalie Ong delivered. 

The X Factor Australia contestant auditioned with Aguilera’s “The Voice Within,” a song that’s been covered many times, though not always well. 

The judges, which included Adam Lambert and Iggy Azalea, were floored; Lambert noted the song’s difficulty and said she “nailed like 99.9 percent of it,” but that she has to work to make it her own.
