Woody Allen‘s new Amazon series, Crisis in Six Scenes, debuts later this month, and we got a first look today.
A suburban New York couple, played by Allen and Elaine May—one half of the influential comedy duo Nichols and May—find their lives upended by the political climate of the late ’60s and a politically minded woman (Miley Cyrus) who does things like give their conservative houseguests weed. She takes aim at Allen: “I don’t dislike you, just everything that you stand for.”
Yeah, sounds about right.
