This week on 'We're All Gonna Die,' a politics podcast by the Daily Dot, the team talks Parkland shooting conspiracy theories, dumb tweets, and the FCC's outdated social media guide.

There have been a lot of cringe-worthy tweets in the wake of the school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

Many of the worst offenders have been tin-foil conspiracy theories from the darkest corners of the internet, but Fox News radio host and commentator Todd Starnes had perhaps the dumbest Parkland-tweet—and it was righteously “ratioed.”

For those who don’t know, that means a tweet (like Starnes’ open question about what parents would do if their child ridiculed senators like the school shooting survivors did at CNN’s town hall) gets far more replies than it does retweets or likes. Or, as our very own Ramon Ramirez puts it: “Ratioed is a good indicator that your tweet is on the wrong side of history.”

The Daily Dot’s politics crew talks all that and more on this week’s episode of We’re All Gonna Die.
