An up-and-down Cleveland Browns team will face another stiff challenge from the Seattle Seahawks.

The Cleveland Browns looked like they had turned a corner, and then they crashed into a brick wall. With the Seattle Seahawks coming to town this week, things might not get much better.

After the Browns beat the Ravens two weeks ago, it seemed like they had finally figured things out. Then the 49ers demolished them on Monday Night Football.

The Browns’ offensive struggles come down to Baker Mayfield, who looks like an all-star some weeks and then in other weeks looks lost. Mayfield was held to just 100 yards passing last week.

However, Mayfield wasn’t the only problem. The offensive line has also been shaky. The Browns couldn’t stop the run or generate a pass rush. It was a terrible day overall. Generally, the defense has had trouble with good running backs and struggled to get to the quarterback, even in their victories.

Things just aren’t coming together in Cleveland, while in Seattle it’s hard to imagine the Seahawks getting even better. Russell Wilson threw for four touchdowns and Chris Carson ran for over 100 yards last week, allowing the Seahawks to squeak past the Rams.

The solid defensive unit has gotten a nice boost with the addition of Jadeveon Clowney, while the emergence of tight end Will Dissly has given the offense a fresh weapon. In Seattle, a good team has gotten better.

The Seahawks feel like a complete team that doesn’t have to put up flashy numbers to win. Meanwhile, the Browns feel like the opposite, stumbling if their stars don’t play absolutely lights out.

Seattle is the clear favorite here unless Nick Chubb or Odell Beckham Jr. manages a miracle against the stout Seahawks D.

3) AirTV

AirTV solves one of Sling’s biggest problems: The inability to receive all of your local channels. By purchasing a basic AirTV for $79.99 or the AirTV Player for $119.99, you can merge those local channels into your Sling TV, (or on your mobile device if you have the basic AirTV). As the Daily Dot wrote in its AirTV review, “it’s practically magic.” While select football games are no longer on Sling after its contract impasse with Fox—which for now means no Fox, FS1, or FS2 via Sling—you can still catch the Fox telecasts with AirTV.

The basic AirTV is a dual-tuner streaming device, while the AirTV Player is basically an upgraded Chromecast that has Netflix preinstalled. You’ll still need to own an HD antenna because even though AirTV gets you access to your local channels, it doesn’t actually physically show them to you.

But AirTV—which has no monthly fee—serves to strengthen one of Sling’s biggest weaknesses compared to other live streaming services like Hulu with Live TVYouTube TV, and PlayStation Vue. All those services have plenty of local channels.

While select NFL and college football games (on Fox, FS1, and FS2) are no longer on Sling, you can still catch Fox games with AirTV.

If you’d like to watch live NFL games directly from your PS4, PlayStation Vue is your best bet. PlayStation also works with streaming devices like Roku and Amazon Fire products, but what separates PlayStation from the rest of the streaming services is that it’s also compatible with Kodi. No matter how you stream, you’ll get to choose from four tiers of channels—all but the cheapest include NFL Network. From there, you can also add NFL RedZone as part of the $10-per-month Sports Pack, which also unlocks ESPN Bases Loaded, ESPN Classic, Longhorn Network, Outside TV, and NBCUniversal regional sports networks. You can see the full list of PlayStation Vue channels here. Two other great perks: You can stream on up to five devices at once, and there’s also unlimited cloud DVR.

Fantasy football: Who should I start?

Seahawks

Will Dissly, Tight End: Dissly has been the Seahawks’ leading receiving option for the last two weeks. While this offense is often short on the kind of yardage you want from a number one receiver, it is a nice situation for a star tight end. Dissly is a must-start every week.

Browns

Nick Chubb, Running Back: Anyone with Chubb on their roster is starting him every week, but this is just to say that one off week doesn’t change his potential. Even in a down day for the team, Chubb managed 75 yards. Where the receiving game is mercurial, Chubb is a constant.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Cleveland Browns: Why it matters

The NFC West is competitive because the teams are so good. The AFC North is competitive because the teams are so bad.

Despite their dismal display on Monday, the Browns are only a game behind the division-leading Ravens. Despite the Seahawks’ strong start, they sit in second place in their division with the Rams nipping at their heels.

This game matters for both teams as their divisions are so tight after five weeks.

Seattle is the clear favorite here, thanks to the steady hand of Russell Wilson, who his having an MVP-caliber 2019 campaign. If Baker Mayfield can turn in one of his good games, the result could swing, but if you look at the two quarterbacks, it’s not hard to decide who to trust.
