Imagine finding out the worst news of your life while live on the air. That’s the starting point for Brockmire. Comedy great Hank Azaria stars as famed baseball announcer Jim Brockmire, who suffered a full-blown public meltdown when he discovered his wife’s serial infidelity. After cooling off for a decade, he’s looking to reclaim his old career, serving as a minor league announcer for the Morristown Frackers. And though he faced a few situational obstacles, he’s slowly climbing to the top. By season 2, he lands a gig announcing for the AAA New Orleans Crawdaddys. In the season 3 premiere, Brockmire is preparing for a return to the major leagues.
