Bayern Munich vs. RB Leipzig: Why it matters

With both of these teams planning title-contending 2019s, this is the type of game that will be looked back on after the season as a top-four decider. Leipzig made the UEFA Champions League group stage last season and wants to be there consistently, but only made the Europa League this year and recently bombed out of the group stage. With no European games in the Spring, Leipzig will be focused solely on the league as the top four German teams will all be in the UCL group stage next year. Bayern Munich is the six-time defending champion and plans on winning a seventh, despite only being in third place with 30 points. After drawing Premier League leaders Liverpool in the Round of 16, Bayern has extra motivation to continue dominance in Germany with the road ahead in Europe looking so tough.
