With Donald Trump finally taking the oath of office, Saturday Night Live didn’t waste any time in laying into what has become the show’s biggest foil this season.

But this time, Russian President Vladimir Putin was the focus of the show’s cold open. As has become its running joke, Putin, played by Beck Bennett, was shirtless, and the show opened with him with sitting at his desk at the Kremlin.

“Yesterday, we all made Donald Trump the 45th president of the United States,” Putin smugly states. “Hooray, we did it!”

Putin said he understood why Americans might be scared and worried that the country is in the hands of an unpredictable man with alleged ties to Russia, but in order to soothe U.S. citizens, Putin said, “Don’t worry, it’s not. Relax, I’ve got this. Pootie is going to make everything OK.”

Here’s the rest of the cold open, and even Putin can’t help but take shots at the attendance at Trump’s inauguration, especially when compared to Saturday’s Women’s March on Washington.
