The boys of Silicon Valley overcome adversity time and time again only to find themselves jumping from the frying pan into the fire and from there into a raging inferno.
Every time Richard (Thomas Middleditch) and his team are on the doorstep of success, a massive screw-up, usually self-inflicted, is just around the corner—which is why the end of season 3 was surprisingly, almost disturbingly, upbeat. The gang got their company back and finally look ready to take control of their destinies. But will it last?

Everybody’s back! Well, almost everyone. And if Russ’ (Chris Diamantopoulos) return bit at the end of last season proves anything, it’s that any of the long-gone supporting players can show up again—even people we thought the Pied Pipers were done dealing with for good. Silicon Valley season 4 plot
This shouldn’t come as a surprise, but expect life to get complicated for Richard, Erlich (T.J. Miller), Gilfoy (Martin Starr), Dinesh (Kumail Nanjiani), and Monica (Amanda Crew), especially now that she’s more directly involved with the company, and even Bighead (Josh Brenner). With Erlich and Bighead now owning Pied Piper and their last joint venture being an unmitigated disaster, season 4 should be chock full of ill-advised decisions and morally reprehensible strategies.
Masterminds Mike Judge and Alec Berg have kept actual plot details under wraps, but they are on the record saying they think the characters are not as interesting when they are successful for too long. So get ready for hilarious setbacks pretty quickly.
