Sex Education season 2 was announced back in February, and now there’s finally a release date.
Netflix’s popular British series about a teenage boy named Otis (Asa Butterfield) and his sex therapist mother (Gillian Anderson) returns on Jan. 17, along with the season 1 cast. This season, Otis tries to make it work with girlfriend Ola (Patricia Allison), but there’s a big question mark for Otis and Maeve (Emma Mackey), as well as Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) and Adam (Connor Swindells). There’s also a chlamydia outbreak at the school.
In a recent interview with the Wrap, Anderson said in season 2, “We’re pretty much starting where we left off,” and she and Otis “made some headway together in terms of levels of communication. But, as with anything with parenting, you think you’ve taken a few steps forward and then you take a few steps back.”
