With officer-involved shooting cases involving Terence Crutcher and Philando Castile still in the news, it comes at no surprise that African-American men and women may feel uncomfortable being pulled over.
On Thursday former NFL standout Roddy White tweeted about his most recent experience with law enforcement.
The former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver knew he was in the wrong and was prepared to receive a ticket when an armed police officer approached his car—with his gun allegedly drawn.
White says he was confused and afraid for his life.
So I just got pulled over for speeding and my tag expired so I got 2 tickets which I wasn’t complaining about I gladly excepted them
