Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away on Friday. Those looking to celebrate her life have two recent movies to help do just that. Here’s how to stream RBG and how to stream On the Basis of Sex. The 2018 movies take different approaches in portraying the Supreme Court Justice. Both of them, though, account for the unlikely celebrity she was.
Stream RBG: How to stream the RBG documentary
As Catherine Capellaro from the Isthmus pointed out in a positive review, “Ginsburg is probably the only justice to have inspired a rap name (“The Notorious RBG”), comic books and a sketch comedy impersonator.”
Calling the RBG documentary “a superhero movie with a twist,” she notes that it “begins with the voices of her male, conservative critics. They call her ‘witch,’ ‘evil-doer,’ ‘wicked’ and ‘a zombie.’ Their insults contrast perfectly with scenes of the octogenarian charming live television audiences and doing planks, squats and lifting weights in a gym — over a hip-hop track.”

Stream On the Basis of Sex: How to stream the RBG biopic movie
On the Basis of Sex is, according to the Independent’s Geoffrey Macnab, “a full-blown and satisfying courtroom drama.” He notes in his review Felicity Jones is a surprising choice for the lead.
“She seems a little too glamorous and a little too English to play the diminutive Brooklyn-born heroine,” he observes in his review. “Jones, though, relishes the role. She catches her character’s resilience and idealism as well as her pragmatism. Her Ruth never gives in to self-pity. If she is rebuffed, or loses a legal argument or faces calamity in her private life, she simply redoubles her efforts to succeed. She may seem mild-mannered and Miss Marple-like, but she is utterly relentless.
