The surprises didn’t stop at Gary from Chicago. The best picture category got a major shakeup Sunday night at the Oscars after it was announced La La Land won.

Presenter Warren Beatty, visibly confused, hesitated when he opened the envelope. Co-presenter Faye Dunaway then flubbed the winner and announced La La Land, when in actuality Moonlight won best picture. In a surreal moment, the La La Land cast had to leave the stage, and the Moonlight cast made its way up.
