Need to know what MLB games are on TV today? Even if you’ve cut the cord, chances are there’s at least one MLB game you can watch daily if you have the right live TV streaming service. Don’t worry: We have a few recommendations to help you out, and we’ve compiled the complete schedule of MLB games on TV below. We’ll update it as more information becomes available.
How to watch MLB games today on TV
MLB games will air regularly on ESPN, FS1, Fox, ESPN2, and MLB Network (see PlayStation Vue below), but you’ll also want to consider a couple of upgrades.
1) ESPN+
- Cost: $4.99 per month or $49.99 for 12 months (after 7-day free trial)
- Devices: Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV and Fire Tablet, Apple TV, Android TV, Roku players and TV, Oculus Go, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Samsung smart TVs, and iOS and Android devices
ESPN+ is broadcasting one MLB game per day for the entire 2019 season, but that’s only one of many reasons why you should consider subscribing. The service also offers exclusive access to 20 UFC Fight Night events annually, every out-of-market MLS game, and a ton of live college sports. You’ll also be able to watch the entire 30 for 30 catalog on-demand. When it comes to bang for your buck, no other sports service offers more than ESPN+. (You can find the entire MLB on ESPN+ schedule here.)
2) PlayStation Vue
- Cost: $44.99-$79.99 per month (after a 7-day free trial)
- PlayStation Vue devices: PlayStation 3 and 4, Roku, Amazon Fire, Google Chromecast, Kodi, iOS and Android devices
If you’re in the market for a live TV streaming service, you have plenty of options. Sling TV and Hulu with Live TV both offer carry ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, and FS1, making them both solid options for streaming MLB games on TV. But only YouTube TV and PlayStation Vue carry MLB Network, which is practically essential, given the sheer volume of games it offers over the course of the 2019 season. Both of those services also offer unlimited cloud DVR, but I prefer PlayStation Vue if only because it works with Amazon Fire devices, lets you stream on up to five devices at once, and offers HBO as a premium add-on. You can see the full list of PlayStation Vue channels here.
3) MLB.TV
- Cost: $118.99 annually or $24.99 per month for all teams | $91.99 annually for a single team
- Devices: Roku, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire Stick and Fire TV, Android TV, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, along with select Samsung products
Not content to just watch the MLB games available on TV? MLB.TV lets you watch every single out-of-market game for the entire season. In fact, you can watch up to four games at once, and you’ll have access to full-game replays 90 minutes after a fame has finished, even those that were blacked out locally. Luckily, you can know add MLB TV as an Amazon Prime channel, making it easy to subscribe and stream alongside your other premium content.
