The newest trailer for Mary Poppins Returns is here, and it’s got plenty of the original film’s touches while embarking on a fresh story.

Mary (Emily Blunt) hasn’t aged a day and has returned to take care of the Bankses, but much has changed since her last visit. Michael and Jane (Ben Whishaw and Emily Mortimer) have grown up and are trying to keep their family home, and while the film’s synopsis hinted at it, the trailer confirms that Michael’s wife has died. Jane, meanwhile, has embraced her mother’s activist roots and is campaigning for workers’ rights.

The sequel also has plenty of cornerstones that fans will recognize without it being a complete retread of the original film. Song and dance, an exploration of brightly animated worlds that clash with dreary London, and even a questionable cockney accent from Lin-Manuel Miranda that fits right in with Bert the chimney sweeper.

And the trailer barely begins to touch on the supporting cast, which includes Angela Lansbury, Colin Firth, Meryl Streep (who plays Mary’s cousin Topsy), and Dick Van Dyke, who will play Mr. Dawes Jr. after portraying the character’s father in the original film.

It’s our biggest look at the film yet, and fans are already sold.
