When he was the college football coach at the University of Georgia, Mark Richt had an annual tradition of climbing to the top of the 10-meter platform at the school’s natatorium and back-flipping into the refreshing water below in the name of team unity.
Despite the fact he was fired before the 2016 season, Richt has resurrected the tradition at his new job at the University of Miami.
And his latest attempt was smooth and spectacular.

Sure, maybe Richt will never win a national championship as a coach. But there’s little doubt that he’s the all-time coaching leader in overcoming potential vertigo.
