It’s a well-documented phenomenon that when children sing pop songs, it turns into YouTube gold. Will the “cute kids + catchy tune” formula ever stop working?

Not today. Even the most cynical viewers will struggle to resist the charms of Lennon and Maisy Stella’s cover of “Call Your Girlfriend,” a 2010 dance-pop anthem by Swedish songstress Robyn. Using nothing more than food packaging for percussion and their own tiny, perfectly-harmonized voices (in the style of an earlier cover by Erato), the siblings lend a sense of sweet melancholy to Robyn’s club hit.

Although the video is still stuck around 300 hits, it has almost 3,000 likes, putting it on-track to eclipse Lennon and Maisy’s cover of “You & I” by Ingrid Michaelson, currently their most popular video. It also graced the front page of Reddit, so you know what that means.
