It’s been a wild few days for Kanye West on Twitter, to say the least, but no one’s more aware of that fact than his mother-in-law (and rumored manager) Kris Jenner.
The Kardashian matriarch notoriously serves as the puppeteer behind her daughters’ careers and has made an art out of figuring out how to finesse money from her children’s truly unpredictable life choices. It looks like she has her work cut out for her with her son-in-law West, though. West recently reactivated his Twitter account after spending several months away from the platform and quickly hopped back into his stream-of-consciousness posting style. In a surprising plot twist, however, he’s found an audience with far-right Twitter this time around—largely because of a series of pro-Trump thoughts he’s been sharing in recent days. The president even RTed West, thanking the rapper for his support.
The news media is understandably leaping at the opportunity to cover the story, sending Jenner into overdrive as she fact-checks the headlines. She particularly seemed to take issue with three People magazine tweets:

Fans remain confused about West’s behavior, but watching Kris shift into damage control mode is a familiar vibe for Kardashian stans. And this might go down as her most challenging case yet:
