As she battles breast cancer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus has been open about her fight. On Wednesday, the Veep and Seinfeld star posted a stunning, defiant photo after undergoing surgery, and she had some choice words for cancer.
Dreyfus has been active on social media as she fights the disease. When she was diagnosed last September, she posted an Instagram note, writing, “1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I’m the one.” She’s also called for universal healthcare.
She’s continued to keep her fans updated on Instagram and Twitter as she’s undergone chemotherapy.
2 of my darling Bozos (love them so much) psyche me up for 3rd chemo today. And guess what? It worked! I’m psyched AF. @SamRichardson @mrmattwalsh pic.twitter.com/OuwR5hvHlf

Dreyfus recently won twice at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, making her the most decorated SAG Award winner in history, and last September, she became the first actor to win her sixth Emmy for the same role.
Veep will reportedly begin shooting its final season this August with a release date reportedly set for 2019.
