Jimmy Kimmel tweeted a photo Tuesday of his smiling infant son, thanking supporters after the Senate decided not to vote on the healthcare bill to replace the Affordable Care Act.

“Thanks to all who stood up and spoke out from this happy guy and his less-fortunate friends #GoodbyeGrahamCassidy,” Kimmel wrote.
Kimmel has been outspoken with his criticism of the so-called Graham-Cassidy Bill, and he used the story of his son receiving emergency heart surgery after birth to raise awareness of efforts to replace the ACA.
The late-night host had a public squabble with Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) over the bill. At one point, Kimmel called the senator a liar for going back on his word that he would not support a healthcare bill denying coverage to children in need.
