The internet is fertile ground for unsolved mysteries and divisive fan theories. We love a good dress. But there’s a new photo no one can agree on.
Is this Tom Hanks or Bill Murray?
A photo reportedly taken in 2012 and posted to the Facebook group Reasons My Son Is Crying in 2013 by Laura DiMichele-Ross identifies the source of her son’s terror as Murray. There’s even a physical photo signed by Murray. But dissenting opinion claims that’s Tom Hanks.
Hanks has been in the public consciousness more lately, which might be swaying some people’s opinions. But Murray is seemingly everywhere at all times.
The BBC did its part and tweeted at Hanks to get confirmation. It also took a Twitter poll, which has Hanks in the lead.
