‘House of Cards’ season 5 teaser arrives at the perfect time

Of course, the teaser for season 5 of House of Cards comes out on Inauguration Day. 

There’s not much to it—just your average upside-down American flag waving in front of an ominous White House as children recite the Pledge of Allegiance—but it does offer a date for season 5 of the Netflix original series: May 30. 

Series creator Beau Willimon has been an outspoken critic of Donald Trump, and while he exited as showrunner last year, it will be interesting to see how the show approaches the, uh, “terror” to come.
