When it comes to releasing his new album, Grammy-winning R&B singer Frank Ocean has had more false starts than an offensive tackle.
He’s been teasing the follow-up to 2012’s acclaimed Channel Orange since 2013. His Tumblr jokes about the album, reportedly titled Boys Don’t Cry, and its missed deadlines by way of a cryptic image of stamped library book return dates.
On Aug. 1, this reporter spent more than six hours watching Ocean perform hobbyist woodwork during an ominous livestream—but nothing came of it.
At least you can now ignore the moody artist’s gimmicks while simultaneously knowing the minute his record lands online.
