Everyone handles their exes differently online after a breakup, but if you’re Drake, you still promote their sock line.
The rapper Instagrammed himself Tuesday in a relaxed pose, assumedly after a long day of “trabajo,” but there’s some subtle Rihanna #spon going on if you look closely. The pair have been romantically tied to each other for years (in 2016 Rihanna got a Drake-related tattoo), and even though they definitely seem to be in an “off” phase, Drake’s still out here promoting her merch. Iconic.
In the pic, Drake sits splayed out on a white loveseat with what appears to be a humidifier running in the background. On a coffee table, a wine glass full of fruit punch and ice cubes sits waiting for him. On his feet, a pair of Rihanna’s brand new novelty socks (specifically, the pair with the outfit from her “Work” video).

The Barbadian pop star just launched her sock line (a collaboration with Stance) last week, and each pair features a cartoon version of her wearing a different famous outfit from her career. She debuted the pics on Instagram:

And while it probably means… absolutely nothing about the pair as a couple, it’s nice to know that Drake can be exactly as corny and sentimental IRL as he is in his lyrics.
