Late Tuesday evening the 30-year-old supermodel switched her Twitter account from public to private after receiving backlash from trolls in regards to her comments on the vice presidential debate.

“Whoa we are witnessing the death of Pence’s batteries,” Teigen tweeted about Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R).

Despite her account being switched to private, her voice is still being shared with 2.88 million followers.

Teigen, along with her musician husband John Legend, have been actively voicing their opinion on Twitter about police brutality and the presidential election.

“It’s not haters or trolls or generally mean people,” she continued to tweet. “I just feel like I am absorbing bad shit 24/7. My body and mind cannot handle it anymore.”

Hopefully Teigen will switch back to public soon—we will miss seeing her retweeted onto our timelines.
