This is the first Christmas for the Cornell family without their beloved father and husband. Paying tribute to Chris Cornell, the former lead singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave who was found dead last May, his wife, Vicky, posted an old video of him speaking about his family’s Christmas tradition.
In the video, which was shot three years ago for a school project for one of the couple’s children, Cornell and his son Christopher, seated in front of a Christmas tree, describe the family’s tradition of traveling to Rome and how they like to bike and surf during the holiday season.
“We just spend a lot of time with our family, and we spend a lot of time traveling, because that’s what we do a lot and that’s what we like to do,” Cornell said.
Then, a montage of family photos follows. Check out the entire video below.
Sharing a special Christmas video that Chris made with C 3 years ago for school. While the holidays will never be the same again without Chris, we will always remember his boundless love. Happy Holidays & thank you all for your much needed love and support. – VC pic.twitter.com/XWR2WOwQVn
