A fan of The Bachelor just revealed the incredible way in which she discovered who won the most recent season long before anyone else knew.
While some TV fans prefer to stay spoiler-free until the storyline has unraveled over the course of a season, others cobble together any theories and hunt down any clues they can. Twitter user @clur19, or Clare, falls into the latter category, and since the show she was obsessing over was a reality show, that meant doing some deep diving into Bachelor Colton Underwood’s social media.
Clare revealed on Friday that she bypassed the usual forms of social media stalking (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, you know, all the good ones) and instead checked out Underwood’s Venmo account.
“What’s the most psycho thing you did in 2019? I’ll go first!” she wrote. “I stalked Colton’s Venmo friends to see who he picked and then I knew who won the Bachelor months before anyone else did.”

Her confession drew the attention of Underwood himself, who gave her “major props” for her sleuthing skills.

When Clare cheekily responded that she does anything necessary to win The Bachelor bracket, Underwood asked what tipped her off that he eventually wound up giving his final rose to Cassie Randolph.
“Wow this is the most embarrassing moment of my life but you were friends with all the Randolphs,” she said.

Rookie mistake, Underwood.
Still, the internet is majorly impressed with Clare’s detective work, not to mention that it seems she mostly kept her discovery to herself while the season was airing.
“Give her…. the…. NOBEL PRIZE !!!!” Twitter user @___kelseXy wrote.
Others pointed out that she should be hired by RealitySteve, the go-to site for Bachelor spoilers.

I figured this out right as filming was done. Plus Reality Steve burned all of us with his wrong reports during Hannah’s season. I’ll do my own sleuthing now and not rely on his sources.

But Clare is already using her confession to try to bounce onto bigger and better things.
“This is my official application to be on your show,” she tweeted to @BachelorABC. “No really! I’m fine being the villain of the show. I’ve always related the most to Corinne anyways.”
