Kaylee Rodgers, a 10-year-old girl with autism and A.D.H.D. from Northern Ireland, wowed this month with her gorgeous version of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.“
Backed by a choir composed of students from her school, the youngster from Donaghadee, County Down, nailed her solo performance at their Christmas show. After a Facebook post, she became a global hit.
The video racked up over 267,000 views in just three days.
She says it helps her build confidence, too. In an interview with ITV, Rodgers expressed her excitement at the overnight fame. “It was really amazing how many views I got,” she said. “I just loved doing it.”
