The food expert from Netflix’s Queer Eye reboot may get a lot of flack for teaching simple recipes on the show, but that’s not stopping him from opening a restaurant of his own.
Antoni Porowski, the Fab 5’s resident heartthrob, revealed plans to open a “fast-casual” restaurant in New York City during a panel at New York’s 92 Street YMCA this week.
“I’m all about like cheese and pork belly and decadence,” he told the audience. “And as a result of the increased vanity of being on camera all the time and working out and eating healthy, I’m developing a fast-casual food concept restaurant that I’m gonna be opening here in New York.” Work!
Fans of the show are pleased about the development, of course, but also couldn’t help but joke about what kind of food Porowski might serve, considering he’s usually teaching Queer Eye contestants how to slice a vegetable for the first time or buy non-frozen groceries.
