If your holiday traditions include watching the cheesiest possible rom-com, you’ll be delighted to know that Netflix just dropped the trailer for A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding.
The sequel picks up a year after Netflix original A Christmas Prince left off. If you need a refresher: A journalist named Amber discovered Prince Richard was next in line for the throne, and after her editor passed on the huge scoop, she decided to post the story on her blog instead. Prince Richard discovered the blog, leading to a whirlwind romance and hasty proposal.
The trailer for A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding shows Amber is still blogging: “It has been 349 days since I said yes to the love of my life, Richard Ben Charlton, the King of Aldovia. Somehow through all this insanity I’m still me, even though I’m about to become the queen of a small country.”
You can only imagine the antics and heart-to-hearts to follow.
The first was so wonderfully corny that more than 50 people watched it 18 days in a row, and there’s no doubt plenty of people will be binging the sequel all season long. A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding debuts on Netflix on Nov. 30, so try to contain your excitement until then.
