With more than 72 hours of footage uploaded every minute, it’s physically impossible to keep track of the content on YouTube. But in YouTube Guide, the Daily Dot will curate its five favorite finds for each workday.
1) School of Thrones, “Prom Night Is Coming”
If you thought the politics were complex in Westeros, try transporting the Starks, Lannisters, Baratheons, Greyjoys, and Targaryens to high school. But instead of taking over the kingdom (or even Westeros Valley High), these families have a bigger fish to fry: Prom Night.
2) Old Spice, “Meet the Wolfdog”
With the voice box used in Up, Mr. Wolfdog, the newest mascot for Old Spice, is here to seduce you with his marketing, desk decorations, and business-looking awards. However, even he can’t resist the urge to eat his staff members.
3) Stuart Edge, “Kiss Me, I’m Irish”
Taking off the old cliche of “kiss me, I’m Irish,” Stuart Edge takes two people who are Irish, gives them signs advertising free kisses, and sends them around a college campus to test out the theory and willingness of the unknowing test subjects.
4) Official Comedy, “The Shining meets Dumb and Dumber: Inappropriate Laughter”
Dumb and Dumber’s Harry manages to get to the bathroom in time, but someone turns out to be impatient. A crazed Jack from The Shining rams an axe into the door as a laugh track breaks the tension.
5) PistolShrimps, “Batman in Classic Movie Scenes”
Batman may be a big hit in his own franchise, but when you stick the Dark Knight into other classic movies, we understand why Dave disconnected HAL, what made Hermione so annoying to Ron, and the precursor to Bruce Wayne’s parents’ deaths.
