William Shatner on Thursday offered a passive-aggressive peace offering—a tweet, of course—in making up with current Dancing with the Stars contestant and newly avowed enemy, Nick Viall. This after an intense social media attack on the former Bachelor contestant.
Hey @viallnicholas28 Will you accept this ☮️🌹? As a Dad w/ daughters I’m not happy w/ what you’ve done in the past Maybe you’ve matured now?

Previously the Star Trek star actively sought to have his army of Twitter followers help sway the general vote against Viall.

It seems Captain Kirk’s distaste for Viall evolved from the latter’s ignominious turns on ABC franchises, The Bacholorette and Bachelor in Paradise.
Leopards don’t change their spots. Don’t be surprised if he shows up again on paradise. I won’t be. https://t.co/jqD1cQG423

Viall and his dancing partner Peta Murgatroyd weren’t too pleased with Shatner’s evisceration of Viall—though Shatner didn’t seem to have specific beef with his partner.
Peta, you know I love you. 💕 Congratulations on becoming a mommy. Just can’t cheer you on this season. Love to Maks & Shia.

It turns out, if we’re to read the tweet plainly—as well as his pinned tweet about his love for his three daughters—he’s very much against the fathers’ daughters’ being taken advantage of by men.
My children are my life. I have three kids in total; Leslie, Lisabeth & Melanie. They are my reason to get up & live each day to the fullest

The 86-year-old actor has tweeted about this more than 20 times. Your move, Viall.
