There are a lot of sources of stress in our lives: work, family, finances, health. In the Internet age, we have a new source of stress—nay, panic—and it’s called, “Is the Wi-Fi out?”
Julian Smith explores the terror that comes with a disappearing Wi-Fi signal, as well as our ever-increasing distrust of “outside.” When three friends try to figure out what to do while the Wi-Fi’s out, a neighbor tells them, “Well, my Internet’s not working, so I changed my whole outlook on life.”
Of course, that doesn’t last long.
Move over, The Purge: Anarchy. Wi-Fi: Anarchy’s even scarier.
