TikTok’s “where’s my Juul” challenge has teens honing their makeup skills—and channeling their inner demon.
The trend, as far as Nylon can tell, started with TikTok user @mardibarts. Her upload, which transformed sleek jade makeup into a startling slime-inspired clown, is set to “Where’s My Juul” by Full Tac featuring Lil Mariko.
Madi, as she goes by on TikTok, abruptly found herself at the head of a viral sensation. Her video racked up 8 million views, and soon dozens more joined it. Colorful transformations from elegant makeup into furious clowns, demonic beasts, and tentacle monsters drenched the platform within hours.
One video, compiling a number of excellent entries into the “where’s my Juul” challenge, may top the bunch. It includes brief clips from several different users, all channeling the same chaotic energy.
Teens on TikTok are using their quarantine time well.
