We all know and love Weird Al Yankovic for his decades-long career of pop-song parodies. Now, he’s breaking away from hilarious spoofs of Lorde and Iggy Azalea songs and entertaining us with his magic skills.

On Dec. 17, the 55-year-old musician released a YouTube video demonstrating his apparent ability to levitate a shiny “floating orb.” Thankfully for us all, he quickly reveals how the trick is performed.
If you yourself happen to have a large metallic ladle at home, you can try to replicate Weird Al’s trick, assuming your target is standing directly in front of you and not moving at all. Just don’t try to replicate any of his music, because you will fail.
