We’re still reeling from The Walking Dead’s brutal season premiere, but it’s only after the fact that some fans are learning just how much worse it could’ve been.

Even though the cast knew who would die for more than a year, The Walking Dead filmed death scenes for every character in Negan’s game of “Eeny Meeny Miny Moe” in an attempt to stop spoilers from getting out; we even saw some of them courtesy of Rick Grimes’ flashes. In the days after we watched Glenn and Abraham being bludgeoned to death, fans have stumbled upon a grainy, leaked video showing one of Negan’s other potential victims.

In this scenario Maggie, who is already looking the worse for wear after complications from her pregnancy, is the unfortunate victim. Abraham—Negan’s initial victim—is still alive and forced to watch in horror as Maggie “takes it like a champ.” It’s blurry and the footage is filmed like it’s airing on a screen, so it’s hard to see some of it.

However, it’s possible that this might not have been an accidental leak. The Maggie video spread online last week around the time that parts of the season premiere actually leaked, which included accurate reporting of what happened in it. Some versions of the video were taken offline by AMC but others were left online nearly a week later. Perhaps its presence was intentional—an attempt to throw fans off the scent of the real leaks.

But while only two people ended up leaving, Negan still had to be filmed killing everyone.

“Look, that whole episode was hard, and also because I did go through and smack everybody with Lucille at a certain point,” Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Negan, told Interview magazine. “Everybody took a hit. All of that was hard.”

Besides, with Rick admitting defeat someone has to carry the torch of enacting revenge.
