Being single in the 1980s was a lot simpler than it is now. You met people in person, went on actual dates at restaurants with metal utensils, and even called each other on the telephone.

But what if Tinder had been around during the Reagan administration? What would it have looked like? Wonder no more. Comedy group SquirrelMonkey created a video imagining a distinctly retro version of the hottest hookup service.

Despite the slower pace and more laborious process, it doesn’t seem like it would have been any better at helping you find a soulmate.
